Brooklyn is truly an exceptional and special school, and it is my honor to serve as Principal. I have had the privilege to spend my career educator working with students at the elementary level. I have taught grades 1st-4th including 2nd grade at Brooklyn. I started my administrative career in the Oregon School District as an Administrative Intern and am now the Brooklyn Elementary Principal.
I have loved the opportunity to contribute to the goals and initiatives set forth by the Oregon School District. I have enjoyed collaborating with staff across buildings on curriculum teams, green and healthy initiatives, and opportunities for students and families to promote equity and the whole child. I believe that providing a safe and supportive, engaging and inspiring, equitable learning environment will help each and every child achieve high levels of success.
I am eager to continue Brooklyn's work in providing rigorous, authentic, and equitable experiences to our students. Family and community partnerships are critical, and I welcome opportunities for family and community collaboration. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
